Installation and measurement

The core of the system is a heat resistant, conductive glass felt which is embedded between the bituminous layers in the waterproofing system. 

If water penetrates the upper layer, it will contact the felt which causes the signal on the roof to conduct into the felt. The waterproofing can be tested on a regular basis within the guidelines of the building quality assurance documents, or during building use by the hand-held computer terminal. It can also be monitored by a permanently installed leak sensor. Immediate and positive determination of leakage in the upper layer of the roofing is possible with this system.
